jvc does not sell it. so only used parts now. ask them ?
and using ebay ,you might get lucky
it is not a computer. (it's a BOOM box stereo noise maker)

The fault is with its input selection circuit. Seek tech support. Might be an IC fault.

Could be a blown fuse... it's located behind the right end woofer when looking at the unit face. Remove the round plastic molding and then remove the actual woofer. You will then have sight of the fuse... it's really hard to reach, will need something like long tweezers to reach in, grab and remove. Replacing is also challenging but you will figure it out (1x 250v 1.25A glass tube fuse)

sounds like a dry joint in the power supply wiring inside,probably the printed circuit.easy to fix for an radio shop

These units are notorious for this.. mine quit too for no reason at all,, press power button and it shuts itself off. there are no assemblies available from JVC , only parts..

Sounds like the Fuse on the power supply board. Gonna do an R&R
of my fuse in a few days.I purchased the .PDF service manual for about ten bucks.

Yes it can, you`ll need a soldering iron, solder and a small 12 volt bulb , it is directly behind the display on a removable circuit board. You`ll need to bend the tabs straight and wiggle it off.
