SOURCE: Noisy spin on hotpoint aquarius WF530 6kg washing machine. Suspect bearing how do I replace them.

If you spin the drum by hand, and it is niosy and rumbling then the main drum bearings have failed.
If under 5 years old, then you should be able to get it repaired under Hotpoint 5 year guarantee, You just pay for labour and call out, cheapest option, it is not really a D.I.Y job, as it is quite involved, and entails a lot of work.
Please rate my advice.
Thanks.

SOURCE: F-08 error message on Hotpoint Washing machine

If it works fine with the heater off then i would say that fault appears to be element..the readings you get seem okay, put you meter onto megs and check, with wires off if you get electrical leakage between live and earth...Body....of element, it could be element is heating with no water in machine causing it to burn out..this is a problem with this machine...Wish you well

Hotpoint CTD80 Clothes Dryer. Shows no error codes but high heat not working. Stats seem fine?

Question edited to add Maker.
Question moved to Hotpoint.

Most dryers have 2 elements, one for low, and one for medium. High heat is both elements together. My guess is that your medium element has failed and you are only getting low heat.

Test with a multimeter or call for service.

Hi, I have Hotpoint WD440 washing machine, recently it started tripping the mains RCD.

Without testing I would suggest that the heating element has shorted to earth enough to take out the RCD.
You should test with a multimeter between the element and the outer sheath which should show 0 if Faulty and replace the element, otherwise it is something else in the circuit i.e. temperature cutout causing the earth leakage.

Hotpoint oven won't heat above 250 degrees broiler works fine as well as the stove top

either its the oven sensor rod located at the top of the ovens cavity,or your bake element could be getting a hot spot which is when it gets a discolored spot in the element and can no longer pass sufficient current to heat the oven past 250 degrees

I have a hotpoint ew91 oven that stopped working after tripping house fuse. after resetting fuse fan works but no heat.

It is most likely that the oven heating element has failed which caused the house fuse to trip.

The replace the heating element will mean taking the back off the oven and removing the old heat element by undoing the fixing screws and the electrical connectors( normally this surrounds the fan assembly).

Fitting the new heat element should then be straight forward.

Remember to disconnect the power to the oven before removing the back.

Hotpoint sy36x grill element works fine but when switched on to oven it doesnt heat up, fan working.

it seems to me that it is a fan oven and the top element won't heat up you need a new fan oven element. it is a round element that sits behind the back grill surrounding the fan...

Everything appears to work fine but it is not heating anymore.

If the microwave oven appears to be working but it is not heating the food, it is very possible that the magnetron, or its power supply has failed.

Oven not heating

Hello.
If the fan is working, but there is no heat, then it is the fan oven element that needs to be replaced.
It has nothing to do with timer on this occasion.
Remove panel at rear of oven compartment, there you will see the round element.
Undo fixing screws, and remove element, disconnect leads and fit onto new element, refit new elemrnt, replace cover, and job done!!!

Please leave a fixya rating for my solution.
Thankyou

Hotpoint ew83p oven has no heat

The oven fan element has failed, you need to fit a new one.

Remove inner rear panel of oven and you will see the round element at rear.Unscew screw(s) that secure element, disconnect leads, and fit new element.
Refit element cover.
Job done..
Make sure you have power off to oven before you start.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
