I want to install password on my internet connection

I believe it's asking you for your network password, in order to connect to your network, which if you do not know, you can work with your Internet Service Provider, or call Asus Support for further assistance.

You would connect a laptop from Canada the same way as one from the US. You want to make sure the wireless card is turned on and check for wireless networks. Once you have found your network select it make sure you type the password correctly.

If you have lost the password to access the router page then you have to reset the router

Ensure that you have all the details regarding your internet connection before resetting the router

If you reset the router you can run the smart setup wizard and get connected by entering correct information in all the pages of the wizard

try re-installing internet explorer.

you can access the router's setup page and setup your internet connection form there. follow the steps below

1. Connect a computer to any one of the four LAN ports of the NETGEAR router.
2. Open an Internet explorer and type the router IP address which would be either http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 (by default, refer to your product documentation ti determine the default IP address.) in the address bar and press Enter.
   The Login window will be prompting for a Username and Password. The default Username is admin and the default Password is password
3. then setup your connection according to the settings provided by your ISP

There is no need to have a password for installing the internet
For connecting the internet we must have
1. Modem
2. Telephone Connection or Leased Line or ISDN or any other service provider connection having the username and password which you will get from them
3. Brower like Internet Explorer or FireFox or opera

Well someone in the network attached a password to you're system (internet connect). Talk to the administrator.

I cannot connect thru yahoo messenger yet I can connnect thru Mozilla Firefox, I also cannot connect to MSN Explorer- I could not get Expert Assistance here says I am not connected to internet thru Internet Explorer But my internet connection is fine thru Mozilla????????-
