Our second remote will not allow the second player to join in Just Dance 2 . The second remote works fine with wii sport or wii play. What do we need to do to allow the second player at the same time. Thanks, Martin

I have the same problem. It is not a sync issue. Can turn on wii console with Nyko controller, then go into Just Dance 2014. About 4 seconds later the Nyko behaves very strangely, makes some noises and turns off. Controller that comes with the Wii is fine, only the Nyko has problems, and only with Just Dance 2014. JD 2013 and all other games we have are perfectly fine.

We had the same problem: IF YOU OPEN THE BACK COVER ON YOUR WII REMOTE THERE IS GOING TO BE a red button and some where on the WII too so you press that at the same time and your done

take the battery cover off the wii controller and press the red button. then open the cover at the front of the wii and press the red button. do this when you are at the wii menu. this registeres the remote

You may need nun-chucks for both remotes.

Make sure that you press the + button on the second remote to join in.

ress the red button inside the battery cover of the wii remote, then press the red button inside the cover at the front of the wii. do this at the wii menu to register remote 2

Make sure that the dance pad is connected to the first player port (the port closest to the front of the wii). We had this same problem and we had it plugged into the 4th player port accidentally.

my player 2 remote doesn't work properly. My player 2 remote doesn't respond when player 2 is up to bat on wii sports and when pitching, player 2 throws without command and the e golf, ya know none of the sports games are working properly for the number 2 player. What in the hell do I do!?

Make sure you have paired both remotes to your Wii console.
Open the little door on the front of the Wii (under the disc slot), and open the battery cover of the Wii remote (but leave the batteries in).

Push the red button on the Wii (next to the SD card slot), then push the red button on the Wii remote (next to the batteries). You should see the Wii remote's lights blink.

Do the same for your other Wii remote.

Now on the bottom row of 4 lights on the Wii remote, one should have the first light lit, and the other should have the second light lit. You should also be able to see a cursor for each remote on the Wii Menu.
