I have a sharp aquos quattron 40" i recently purchased a sharp sound bar ht-sp300 .. and im really having a hard time to make it work .. i bought a coaxal cable ..will that help?

    im having trouble connecting the sound bar to work .. i bought a coaxial cable .. i was told i just needed to connect that to work .. but i get nothing .. so im basically asking how to connect the sound bar to work

    Hello
    If you have its user manual go to its general control section where discibed how to use this 2.1 sound bar feature. There is not much speciifed about this feature in its manual also. I can't find anything abot it mentioned in it. If you don't have is user manual, get me your email address by Fixya. I'll send it to you. OK.

Make a hard reset to this set. Unplug it from AC mains wall socket. Replug it after 5 minutes or so.

How to connect sharp HT-SB350 to Sharp LC-42D69U
You may have to use the optical cable connections. Make sure there is an optical out on the tv and on the sound bar. Get an optical cable to connect them and go to the audio setup screen and direct the sound from internal speakers to optical out.

You have obviously connected the sound bar's RCA (red, and white) cables to the TV's IN jacks rather than the OUT jacks, OR you might have them connected to the RCA VIDEO jacks. Check it. Connect them to the TV's audio OUT jacks. Presumably, the inputs on the back of the TV are marked "audio out", and the IN connections from your sound bar must go into the OUT inputs on your TV. I can't imagine what else it could be causing the problem.
