Camera is connected to the computer, but pix will not upload.

I have my camera connected to the computer, and it has recognized that the camera is hooked up, but when I try to upload, it gets nothing off the memory card, when I look at the camera in My Computer, it is blank.

My computer don't recognize my camera (samsung tl220) when I hook it up it just wants to talk about if I want to charge my camera while in sleep mode...thats all it does...I can't upload pix

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I am having problems uploading these pictures on the computer

if it came with a USB cord, or atleast has a USB port on it you should be able to plug it in to the USB port on your computer and your computer should recognize it. mine does (different camera), and I don't have a disk with my camera either. hope that helps :) good luck!
