First to install is always the network card driver. From there you will be able to access the internet and download/install the other drivers. After that you can proceed to get Windows updates.

Drivers first then windows updates. If the hardware is not recognized, windows update won't see it.
Only update the Bios when necessary or if there's a feature you want in the change list.

Hello try to run the intel driver update utility from here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx?lang=eng

You need to install JAVA first for your windows system:

http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Or enter the mainboard number in the seach function.
Its something like D965xxx.
You can find the info in your bios.
Or install this software:

http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download

This software will show what the mainboard number really is.
The number you entered is a part number.

Good luck

What are the instructions for flashing BIOS?

Hello use auto detect here to find the right mainboard:

http://support.asus.com/download/options.aspx?SLanguage=en

Download asus update, this is the easyest program to upgrade the bios, while windows is running.

Install first asus update:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/ASUS-Update-Utility.shtml

When the mainboard is found, select download, and select your windows system.
Open the bios folder, and download the latest bios version.
Unzip the bios file.
Run asus update, and select update bios from file, and select the bios file, in the folder you just have downloaded ( the bin file )

Be very carefull when you upgrade the bios, because a power loss will damage the mainboard, while the upgrade process is running.

You also have to setup the bios settings, when the job is done.
You have to select F1 or F2 to enter the settings.

If any doubt download the manual.

Good luck

Please all drivers de mainboard ibm 49p15pp for windows xp pro and drivers mainboard intel 845gv

Motherboard drivers can be downloaded from the motherboard manufacturer web site. Download on a good computer and put on a CD for installation on your PC. If you are able to get on line you can install them directly from the manufacturer. I recommend downloading and saving the drivers to CD so you will always have them. Be sure to only download the drivers specific to your operating system.

I want to install a new bios for my memory but I don't find the update, my actually version is the v6.0 (7/19/06). It's a phoenix awards bios please help me :'(

Correction the bios update is for the Mainboard or motherboard for a PC. It not for the "memory"? To update your Bios you have to to know the precisely the model/brand of your mainboard before you can download the new bios file needed for the update from the manufacturer site.

There are precautions you need to heed before doing a bios update for the mainboard. In case of any eventualities or mistakes you made may render the mainboard useless!! If you are not 100% sure how to do it, get some professional help.

If you Mainboard is running ie with no errors!, it is advisable not to do the bios update unless recommended by the OEM manufacturer or you need to run a new function from the mainboard which is not included in the old bios.

Hope this helps.

Mic doesn't work with DG 965 RY

Your motherboard manufacturer is Intel and their website for that mainboard is located here. Drivers and bios updates ( last bios update is 27 July 08 ). I highly recommend you get and install the bios update, but to be truthful only the driver updates should be needed to satisfy your problem. I suggest that either the audio driver you are now using is defective or that possibly you don't know how to use the audio controls to set your mic volume.
On most windows installation if the audio drivers are set up as a default installation, there will be located an audio configuration control in the system tray ( lower right of windows screen next to the time/clock. This audio control will have various icons depending on the software involved but could be as simple as a speaker cone or as complex as the name of the software controlling the audio. Open the icon if one exists and set the Mic modulation to around 80% of maximum and unless the driver is totally wrong for your chipset, it should work like a champ....
