if you want to install something or if you plug in something and it says device not reconized or new hardware found for long periods of time and you don't have a cd go to control panel then click add hardware this will tell you what to do its easy and very helpful.
go to device manager look for imaging device (scanner) right click and uninstall. / click scan for hardware changes tab, found new hardware must be appeared and click next / select don't search, i will choose the driver to install / click show compatible hardware and choose scanner driver found and click next. and finish.
It seems the Operating System does not have drivers for your new device or some portion of the drivers are corrupted. If you have the drivers cd for the USB stuff, install the drivers without attaching it to the pc ok. Attach the device when prompted or when completed. Make sure that any previous installations of the software and/or the device should be uninstalled. Good luck
when you are in the device manager have the computer search for new hardware and see if the devices show up. As for the drivers the ones off the manufacturer website should definitely run the hardware.
Before you search for hardware in windows get into bios and make sure the devices are enabled. If the devices are enabled and the drivers off the man. website do not work the shotgun will. Well it will make you feel better but your video and sound won't work
