I have a brother IntelliFAX 1270e Plain Paper Fax Phone & Copier machine. It keeps saying Out of Memory/Erase Message. I don't know how to do this please help!!

Just unplug the power cord for a few seconds, then plug in again. this will erase all fax memory except speed dial and phone book numbers,or you have here manual to download ( look at the end of the user manual,option how to retrieve a fax. there you have listed how to delete faxes in memory).

On most IntelliFax machines, you can see the page count by printing out a user settings list and looking in the lower right corner of the list. Some list the page count, others don't.

On the IntelliFax 1270, follow these steps to print the user settings list.

- Press Function.
- Press 3.
- Press 6.

Fax-1270e error messages no response/busy I keep getting this message and know the other party is available. I checked mode (fax) and telephone connections and wires. Anything else I should check?
have you checke the connection cable is in the correct socket...it should go into the LINE socket ...make sure its not in the TEL one as this for external phone connection..hope this helps A

It could be either. take the machine to anothewr line see if the
error goes away.If it does not call brother customer service. There is an adjustment for input sensitivity of so brother fax machines. It may be in your operators manual
