We have had this microwave for 7 years. Not had any problems until about six months ago when the volume went way down when you push the buttons and timer, but still heated. Then all of a suddon it does not heat anymore but everything comes on, lights, timer, display, etc. Please help!

Press the reser filter button and hold for at least 3 seconds to turn off.

It comes on every six months to remind you to change the filter. (Even if your over-the-range microwave is direct vented and doesn't have a filter.)

If you DO have a filter, it's time to change. Its located in a small compartment above the cavity. Push on the filter door where it states "push" to access the filter.

It sounds like it could be just a bad crimp connector supplying power to the whole system, which would have to be the fuse holder on the mains input panel.
Worth a look!

Personally, I would replace the Microwave. It is bound to be below specification by now if it has been used quite a bit.
Then you will know you will be fine for a few years.

Issue with your Main Panel Power Fail to innitiate ..Du to Component mal-functioning inside the unit ...Possibility Magnetron defect, Or main Transformer Over heat, Also check for safety swich on the door for bad connection...

Replace the fuse with a ceramic fuse from Home depot! costs less than $3 and it will fix the problem. I had all the same problems as everyone else, you name it my microwave had it! you must remember replace it with a ceramic fuse! not a glass one. I know people say its the switchboard and all that nonsence but I promise you, the fuse plays a majoe roll in the microwave not working properly. Even though it doesnt look broken, a junky fuse can cause your appliance to do very strange things. I replaced mine 6 months ago and it works like its fresh out of the box.

have a good look at front to see reset??.press it once it comes back on unplug from the wall and & open it up and go to the part and give it a good clean with wd40, check the push pad for ware & tare dirt gathers and builds up

Well I had the same problem. It made me start unplugging a microwave when it wasn't in use, which is always a plus.
When it does the whole 6666 thing, press 5 and then stop/reset. It usually allows me to input what I want after that.

After six months I just figured it out. Push the cook by weight button in and hold it until the clock function comes on. Turn left for hour and right for minute. Figured this out by holding the cancel button in and a child lock came on, I didn't know how to release it so I reversed the process by holding it in and it cleared. I tried it with the cook by weight, which has a small clock icon next to it and voilla.

I left the unit unplugged over night, plugged it back in the next day and still had the same problem.
