Does the Wacom Intuos2 Classic Pen (xp 300e) work with the Wacom Bamboo CTL 470 tablet?

From what I read on Wacom's site, they are NOT compatible.
The Bamboo use a stylus that is different than the nib pens that the Intuos use. The stylus for the Bamboo is more like the stylus you can purchase for smart phones. The Intuos pens are pressure sensitive and have different nibs you can use for different effects and feel. You can go to their website and look for compatible pens and stylus' for your specific tablet.

Why won't my wacom grip pen click when it touches the tablet instead of hovering and selecting text?

Have you tried pulling the nib out (the end bit you draw with)? It could be that something is sticking the nib further inside the pen than it should, which is telling the pen you are applying pressure. As far as I know there is a little spring inside the pen that the nib pushes on when you touch the pen to the tablet. Perhaps the spring is permanently squished in.

Codegen tablet can I print to an epson stylus from the miniature USB port

Will the tablet work with the mouse? If it does not, is not working is the blue LED light on. If the LED is not working try another usb port. If the mouse works go into the Wacom tablet properties from the start menu. Select the grip pen from the tools. Click on the default button to restore the stylus to factory settings. When you press the pen you should see the pressure scale rise. You can also test the eraser pressure. You could also replace the stylus tip to see if that works. From the Wacom site you can order a new stylus or tips if it is found defective.

Wacom tablet won't recognize pen

Hmm. I've had a similar thing happen with my tablet. Have you tried removing the tablet pen from the list of tools in tablet preferences and then adding it to the list again before checking the 'About' section of the tablet pen set-up and clicking the 'diagnose' button there in? As that worked for me when my tablet pen was not working. The pen was recognized by the tablet after that.

'Lag' or Trailing Line

I just did some more experimenting and it seems that if I replace the tip of the pen, it starts to react better, not great, but definitely better.

Again, I'm using an Intuos 3. On the Intuos 2 I was using, if I replaced the tip, it would improve, but I was going through tips every two months or so. That's why I bought the 3, thinking it would be better because I've never experienced this problem with my 3 at home (these problems are all happening at work). I'm not sure which tablet your have or if you have the spare tips that come with it, but that might be your solution.

Also, check your Wacom settings and make sure the "tip double click distance" is set to "Off". That should help a little.

Another forum post suggested not using the stylus stand or holder. It could...not sure that it actually does...damage the stylus tip so that it reacts as if pressure is being applied. My stylus at home is always in the stand and, since it does have this problem, makes me wonder if this is valid....but why chance it...different stands and different stylus.

Good luck and hope this helps!!!

Can not install ArtZ tablet

Check the port it is connected to. Wacom seems to only recognize serial ports 1-8. I use a USB to Serial adapter and had to reassign it to a lower port number from 12. Go into Device Manager, select the connected device, right click to select Properties, the the Port Setting tab, Advanced button, COM port number. Ok you way back out. uninstall the Wacom software, then reinstall it, following the reboot prompts. It loads a service that tends to hang if the device is not connected when it starts. I had started disabling the tablet and the service just so I can avoid a reboot when I change ports.
