My Krups Model XP2070 has no power. I am an electronics tech. Does anyone have or know where I can find a schematic for the power module?

I have a krups xp2070 that i just put a new motor in. When making espresso, the water pump does not turn off. Is it related to the little relay switch that connects to one side of the pump?

The unit is programmed to operate the pump for a very specific period of time depending on the function. Power to the pump is provided by the main power module but controlled by the control module. Either the module is not sending the right signal or the relay on the power module is stuck on. You could try programming the espresso time to reset the pumping time. Will the pump stop if you press the espresso 1/2 cup button again?

My Krups KP 2070 is less than a month old and the diplay has gone blank. Can I order another one and replace it?

You may have a faulty power module which provides the power to the display module. You can call one of the service centers listed by Krups and they will sell you the power module kit ($50-55) which includes the display control module. I think they also sell the display control module by itself but most likely it is the power module board that failed. Replacing the control module is rather difficult. Ask Krups for a warranty repair but if you decide to do the repair yourself it makes sense to just replace the power board and see if the old display module works.

Espresso function problem Krups XP2070

Most likely it starts the espresso but stops after a few second because the unit is not getting the water flow information or the unit is blocked. You will know that you have a blockage because not water will come out of the espresso filter but most likely you get some liquid during the 4-10 seconds it operates. My unit has the same problem and I fixed by getting a new flow meter. This unit is installed after the water tank and has wires (3) going to the the power module.

My Krups combo espresso/ coffee maker xp2070 will not turn on at all. No blue light when hit either start/stop button.

Do you have power to the control module? Can you set the time or is the display completely dead? Mine was completely dead and I replaced the power module and the display/control module.

No power at all on my krups xp2070 coffee maker

Most likely you need a new power module. Not easy to do yourself and it could be dangerous if you are not careful. The replacement module cost $50 to $60 and if this is the main problem it should be worth fixing. I don't know how much the service centers charge to replace the unit.

I have a krups xp2070 coffee/expresso maker just stopped working

Most likely your power module failed. Mine went bad after 18 months of operation. You can order a replacement power module and control module from a Krups service center or from SmallApplicance.com. The replacement is not easy since you have to disconnect all the electrical connections. The module is about $60. I don't know how much the service center will charge to replace it.

Cannot power up a krups xp2070 coffee/espresso maker

I did not find a repair manual. Most likely you need to replace the power module or the control module. They sell the power module and control module for < $60. It is difficult to replace but not impossible if you are good.
