Do you have power to the control module? Can you set the time or is the display completely dead? Mine was completely dead and I replaced the power module and the display/control module.

No espresso coming out Krups XP2070 10 cup Coffee Maker/15 bar Pump Espresso

Does it produce steam? Does it start making Espresso and then stops after just a few seconds? In this last case you have a faulty flow sensor. I replaced mine but it only worked for a few weeks before failing again. If you are not getting any flow at all it could be that your coffee holder is blocked which can be fixed by cleaning. It could also be that the valves that control the flow are faulty. I replaced mine to make it work again. I gave up on the unit after many repairs and gave it away!

Good luck!

My Krups Model XP2070 has no power. I am an electronics tech. Does anyone have or know where I can find a schematic for the power module?

1800Parts.com has the schematic and we have all the parts too. We are open to answer any questions that you might have as well. It could be a problem with the board or power supply.

I have a krups xp2070 that i just put a new motor in. When making espresso, the water pump does not turn off. Is it related to the little relay switch that connects to one side of the pump?

The unit is programmed to operate the pump for a very specific period of time depending on the function. Power to the pump is provided by the main power module but controlled by the control module. Either the module is not sending the right signal or the relay on the power module is stuck on. You could try programming the espresso time to reset the pumping time. Will the pump stop if you press the espresso 1/2 cup button again?

Krups XP2070 Stops putting water through after a few seconds and screen flashes and on/off button flashes. Does this when head is removed and descaling too. It will start to flow once switched off/on and...

Most likely a faulty flow meter unit which is not providing the right information to the control unit. Replacing is not too difficult and the replacement meter is < $20.

Krups XP2070 - expresso part - timing

It sounds like your flow meter is not working properly. Most likely it goes for about 5 seconds, stops and starts blinking with all the icons on. You can replace the flow meter and get it working again.

Krups xp2070

In my case the problem was a faulty flow meter. I replaced the flow meter and the unit now works great! The microcontroller expects water flow information to deliver the right amount of liquid. If the unit is not getting flow information it will stop and start blinking.

Krups XP2070 coffee machine - new - espresso side - water goes straight into the drip tray & not thru the filter.

This will most likely happen when the pressure valves become defective. Replacing the two valves (they come in pairs) should fix the problem.
