Acer Aspire 5570-2609, Windows Vista Home Premium--Having problem connecting to internet via home wireless network. Router is Netgear N600. I have an ipad and another laptop that connects fine, but the Acer laptop will not connect. In the system tray, bottom right, the wireless icon identifies my network and says it is "connected", with full signal strength. However, when I try to open IE Explorer or Google Chrome, I get an error message-"IE cannot display the webpage" Any suggestions?

Acer aspire will not connect to wireless network

Does your home router have a password? The only thing I can think of doing is removing all the preferred access points from your wireless card's utility or windows (located at start => Setting => Net connections => Wireless => Wireless Networks.

Then add your home access point back.
