Properties shows blank DVD to be full , all blue , with no Bits won't copy pictures or video to DVD disc

Try. reinstalling your media program.

The DVD laser pickup is at the end of life, replacement of assembly the only option, cheaper to replace the combo unit.

I have one that was refurbed and put in a Dell C series module, Hasn't let me down, so it's bad news I guess, maybe unable to fix, I paid $70USD for mine

have not fixed it. Can you fix the title ? I sokld the pontiac. This is about an HP PC. thanks

Here, If u write into Blank cd\dvd using nero software, it will show the datails about ur disc status of remain sapce and used space.

And if u already write a files into on disc,
select ur combo drive, see thats properties.

Hi, if you still have the problem of unable to copy from video to dvd,then just follow these instructions, on the Remote, (when you have both the video tape that you wish to copy in the machine and the blank disc also in the machine ) Press the DUBBING Button(This is 2 buttons along from the Record button),almost immediately a message will pop up asking if you wish to copy VCR to DVD.

look for an option in the DVD menu for dubbing this means to copy contents to hdd (usually cannot do it with copy protected discs but will be ok with a disc you made yourself)

i would say for some reason your dvd player is not compatible from now on with that brand of blank dvd!


get the firmware update from the brand website all you do is download the file burnit on a cd and put it in the dvd player should fix most and eventual problems

You need to use DVD software such as Nero that supports DVD-RW. from the app is where you would erase and so on
also make sure your blanks are +RW and not -RW
