I can't hear clearly but the volume is in the maximum volume

if your camcorder uses cassete then please try your earlier recorded cassette. if the problem is with the newly recorded one then please use cleaner to clean the camcorder. possibly the audio recording and playback head might have some deposit on. it cleaning should help.
if you cant find cleaner dampen cotton cloth with very little alcohol and rub all the metal part except a round drum whic is video head and can be damaged.

I have a stereo cassette deck RS-TR280 which eats any tape I put in. Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

try buying a casset head cleaner. they are pretty rare now but radeo shack may carry them or can order them. also you can clean the rubber wheels that move the tape through the head.

The VCR component used to work fine, but now the video is totally snowy (the sound is fine). In the past, I have solved this problem with other VCR's by cleaning them with a head cleaning cassete. ...

Careful cleaning of the VCR tape head with alcohol and a soft cloth (q-tips sometimes leave fuzz behind) may help, but you could have a problem in the circuit that switches from VCR to Tuner.

Error message E4 and stuck tape

Yes with care. Simply remove the cover and with care unwrap the tape. If you must break the tape - but make sure all residual tape is cleanly removed. Re assemble and put a tape head cleaner through- following the instructions.
