Wont play back tapes

On the mini-DV tapes I have, the protect tab is a slider- it does not come out of the cassette. If you look at the back edge of the tape, where the long label goes, the protect tab is at the right hand end. When it is set to prevent recording it will look like a little square hole, but there should be a tiny edge of the tab showing (mine is green) which you can pull across with a fingernail or sharp object to cover the hole and allow recording.
My camcorder cassette did not close instead it
The dew sensor of the player detects some moisture as the sensor activates the processor to cut off the control to the servo. so unless the moisture or condensation on the HEAD DRUM is removed as when the set is switched on and the small heater on the drum works it will be cleared.
you can use a hair dryer into the inner tray section- drum - and heat up a bit . now switch on and see if the fault clears.
Do not over heat but even if the set is kept on for a while it will clear.-- a safety from tape entangling if moisture is present.
Everytime I turn my camcorder
There is sensor inside the unit that will detect dew. Moisture inside will cause the tape to adhere to the heads, causing damage to both the tape and heads. With the unit open, try pointing a hair dryer at it from a distance of about 12"-18". The warm air should remove any moisture. Please be careful NOT to aim really hot air into the unit.
If that does not resolve the problem, then either the sensor is defective or the connections to it are broken. The camera will err on the side of not functioning in order to prevent damage.

This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

I need to know how
insert the card into the camera ..and if it is not formated..it will prompt you to format it ..and you have to confirm the action ...If not ..go to the storage feature in the main menu ,choose the storage on the card ..and into the options choose to format it ..
you can also choose to format the card into a laptop card reader..and choose the Fat 32 mode..
LCD PICTURE UPSIDE DOWN
This is a feature not a bug...The LCD is designed to flip the picture when you rotate the screen. This is so that you can see what you filming or be in the picture and see yourself filmed. I can't remember if it flips automatically or not. But, I would first try inverting and reverting the LCD screen to see if you can get it to detect orientation, then check and see if there is a setting to manually set the orientation of the LCD instead under the menu options.

Assembly is in malfunction the best thing to do with this beauty is take it to a camera shop and have it evaluated. Same with the lines on the display when your recording this is another sign that the unit needs repair. There is no reset to this but if you like to do a reset take the battery out of the system and then put it back in.
