Actually, it'sa WTW575VWI,but looks similar. In spite of being on a solid floor, and being level, it ALWAYS shakes itself across the floor on spin cycle; big load, small load, balanced as well as possible ; still shakes the whole house. Re-did the auto-level as described in installation instructions, helps a little bit for a little while, then back to earthquake city.

Sounds reasonable; moving the drum by hand, there doesn't seem to be as much spring resistance as usual. Can't test it until I get the thing apart.

Something like this could be caused by either the suspension springs or the skate plate. If oil or lubricant gets on the skate plate surface you will loose the friction needed to keep the tub stabilized during the spin cycle. If the skate plate checks good I recommend replacing the suspension springs. Also, the balance ring on the top of the drum may be bad. Here is a link to the springs. Here is a link to the balance ring.

Whirlpool Duet GHW9100LQI. Has been a good machine for many years. In the past year it began vibrating violently on spin. I've watched a ton of videos to diagnose. Possibly the rear bearings? However,...

There are damper weights, usually pieces of concrete/stone attached to the side of the exterior of the tub, have a look to make sure they are not loose, missing, broken etc. Also make sure the 4 main supports (legs) are solid and not loose, cracked or corroded. If it has self leveling rear legs, make sure they are locking into position and not moving.

Miele W1926 washer shakes more then usual when spinning at low speeds. Could it be problem with shocks? How to open the machine? Thanks

I'd start simply.

They do move over time and if the floor is not even the machine will be out of balance.

If you have not done so check the machine is still level and all feet are solidly on ground.

Try to shake the machine by hand and see if is solid on the ground. There are leveling legs under the unit you can adjust.

Hope this helped. Please rate answer if it does.

Kenmore Whasher shakes on spin cycle

unfortunetly this is common , these new frontloads spin fast even with no pedestal these things move...
make sure the locking nuts for the legs on the pedestal are screwed securely up to frame on pedestal, also could be a floor issue depending on where it is, slooping or not solid floor.

Washer shakes terribly in spin cycle

Does the floor or the walls shake? If they do you have to beef up the flooring under your washer, with blocks between the floor joists, piers, or sistering of the joists. If there is no shaking of the floor or walls, and your washer is solid on the ground, leveled and not rocking, then it is your washer. Lg has problems with too much vibration in their washers. Check to make sure that your lint filter/coin catcher is clean. Open the door in the bottom front, put a towel down to catch the water, Unplug the washer, and unscrew the large plastic screw that is the filter for your washer. If this has debris in it clean it out completely. Look in the hoses also, if your water drain is restricted by lint or coins or other debris, the washer has clothes in it that are wetter and heavier than they should be, and this will cause sever vibration. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

these machines can have this problem when placed on a pedestal and/or the floor may be level but not solid. a "bouncy" floor will amplify any movements. remember, these machines are much heavier and spin much faster than top-loaders. just because it doesn't jiggle doesn't mean the floor is level. you may have to brace to floor or foundation somehow

Washer machine is shaking terrible during the high speed spin

Alot of times with front loader machines they will shake at high speed even if the machine is level. The floor may not sturdy enough. You can put a piece of 3/4" plywood or something like that under you machine. I know putting plywood under your machine is not the best looking thing, but it should help the shaking. The product just needs to to sturdy.

Washer appears to be out of balance

Double check the screws holding the washer to the pedestal to make sure they are tight and make sure all the jam nuts on the leveling legs are tight. Loose jam nuts are the most common cause of this.

If they are tight, loosen the right front leg and screw it up until the weight is off the floor. Then run it back down until it contacts the floor. Put the washer in high spin and tighten it down to the floor until you get the spot where there is the least vibration. Tighten jam nut, and check it again in spin with a load of clothes.

Post back and let me know how this works.
