Look on your motherboard for a jumper labeled PW or maybe PASSWORD. should be 3 pins. move the jumper to the next pin. fire it up, wait a little, shut down and move the jumper back. the restart. some times you can remove the battery for a few minutes. and sometimes there is a clear CMOS jumper that will do it.
none of these work 100% and it depends what type of password you are talking about. if you have the sales receipt and can prove its yours, the most manufacturers will help for a fee. and there are some programs on the net that claim to help.
