The tv "LAMP" LED light indication flashing or ligting up?Yes,the tv projection lamp live are over.Tv require a new projection lamp.

    Recheck projection Lamp all connections,correctly connected and tighly?Yes, than the board call the Ballast board might also requring changing too.This ballast board job,it to help to ignite the projection lamp.

You might want to check and see if that was the right lamp for that tv. You might have the wrong lamp

It is symptom of dying lamp that has been reached at end of its working hours life, replace lamp in tv to solve this issue.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual. Please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.

The tv wont power on and the green timer light continuously blinks. I have unplugged the the tv and also hit the reset button.
...OK to begin troubleshooting this. Unplug the set and leave for 1 min then plug up and leave for 2 min push the power button and let light blink for 2 min.... now push and hold at the same time the MENU and DEVICE buton st the same time. this is the self diagnoses feature ... the lights should link then pause then blink again... this 2 digit code will help narrow it down. Also have you check the lamp yet?

IF its the lamp for Lcd. Just replaced the lamp worked 2x for 30 sec each, now nothing.
you need to make sure all screws are in and tight , and most important the cover on the back of the tv were you access the lamp that has to be on. There is a little blue plastic piece (the safety switch) if that is not engaged the tv will stay on fore a few seconds then turn off check it out.

Tv cuts off and green light flashes
Yup, it seems a lamp problem can give a blinking green light over the 10 times (1 - 10 times for diagnostic codes), but in my case rather than replace the bulb if it works for a minute then resets with the green light blinking, do what I did.
Take the lamp out and inspect it, it has breather screens top and bottom, if it cant breath because there clogged with dust, clean them, and you can remove the screens, use q-tips and clean the inside. I saved the cost of a lamp and it's working fine!
