After a few hours of looking on line and finding nothing I decided to make my own Sharp Receiver connectors. Here are the steps that I took:

where can I get a - _1349.jpgItems I used were wire strippers, wire snips, a file and a sugar free Rockstar (not pictured items: computer power supply, fine grit sandpaper and zip-ties).

_1350.jpg The first this I did was find the 4 pin connector and the 20 pin connector (some times a 16 pin) on the pc power supply and i cut the wires so that there was about 10" to 12" of wire hanging from each connector. These are the 2 connectors need from the power supply to use in your Sharp Receiver.

This is the smaller of the 2 connectors (the 4 pin) and nothing needs to be done with this one. It fits perfectly into the back of the Sharp Receiver into the area labeled " surround sound". I would just zip tie the wires 3" from the connector and then 6" from the connector.
where can I get a - _1352.jpg
_1352.jpg The large connector I cut from the pc power supply is the one where all the work needs to be done. The Sharp Receiver requires an 8 pin connector for the are labeled "front speakers/center speakers/sub woofer". Notice the location of the clip for this connector and that it is centered, we need this clip to remain in the center when we are done so re are going to have to remove every thing from it except for the where can I get a - _1353.jpgpins.

_1353.jpg What I did to get the connector to look like this picture is I cut the 6 pins off on both ends of the connector (you would only cut the 4 pins off both end if you are using a 16 pin connector from the power supply). after I cut those pins off I just pulled the wires out from the back side (they come out very easy after you cut the pins off). Now we need to get rid of the extra plastic where we cut the pins. Please view the next 2 picturewhere can I get a - _1354.jpgyou begin to do your cut.

where can I get a - _1355.jpg"/uploads/images/_1354.jpg" alt="_1354.jpg" class="h_mi" />
_1355.jpg Notice how I left the plastic intact surrounding the 8 remaining pins we are using. I know that it seems like common sense to do it this way but there's people out there who would have cut the plastic so the pins we need are showing. There may be some jagged edged now from where u cut the extra plastic so to get rid of that we are going to use a file or a grinder. Don't grind the sides completely down though, I left a little bit of the ridges because the new ends have thin plastic walls awhere can I get a - _1356.jpg leave a little of the ridges, it will make it a little stronger.

_1356.jpg I tried to put my, now 8 pin, connector in the back of my Sharp Receiver and it was really snug. This is where the fine grit sandpaper comes in handy. just go around each of the 8 pins with the sandpaper, not a lot, just enough so the pins slide into the plug easy and doesn't wiggle. I used 2 zip-ties on this connector also to secure the wired a little more. Again, 3" and 6" from the connector. where can I get a - _1357.jpgeady to be plugged into the area labeled "front speakers/center speakers/sub woofer".

_1357.jpg This is what it should look like when you are all done making the speaker connectors for your Sharp Receiver. All that's left is to connect your speaker wires to your speaker connectors and then all of your components.
I only found 1 website that had the parts for this unit for sale and it was about $50 plus shipping for the connectors. You can get the computer power supply from your local area on www.craigslist.org for $5 or $10, you might have one lying around. I am looking for speakers to replace the ones that r in it.They r they original speakers that came with the car. Delco speakers-they have 1 adapter female plug on each side of the back speakers. Can't find...

any aftermarket speaker you buy will not have that style plug. you need to cut off the original connector on the wiring, and use the connector for the aftermarket speakers - there are a couple different style connectors, whoever you buy the speakers from can provide the proper connectors that you will crimp onto the wiring. good luck!

I have got 2CH speakers idont know where to plug in to the CPU

There are usually 3 audio connectors on a sound card. For Line in, headphone/line out and microphone. The connectors maybe connected to the motherboard or there is a separate sound card.
These connectors are 2.5mm audio sockets - connect the speakers to the headphone/line out (usually green).
If you are not sure which connector to plug the speakers in, just start a audio CD and plug the speaker plug into each socket connector until you get music from the speakers. You will not damage anything if you plug the speakers in the wrong audio socket.

Speaker cut out

Hi,

The problem sounds like either the connectors from the radio to the speakers disconnecting.

To fix this I suggest you work out which speaker is getting is cutting in and out. Then you take the speaker out and check the connectors are attached to the speaker correctly. If the connectors are loose or don't have dirt or something stopping the from making a clean connection the speaker this can cause a problem.

If after checking the speaker connectors the problem persists you need to take the radio out can check the connectors on the radio have not come loose or anything.

If it still doesn't work after that I would then look to replace the radio, as if the speakers are working some of the time that would mean that the problem is probably with the radio not the speakers.

Hope that helps

Dual Cube speakers

Remove grill from speaker that has the snap connector. Remove 4 screws, gently pull out speaker and padding. Put pressure on connector (making sure the connector is out at the max. position)with middle and index finger at the same time placing other speaker onto connector, slightly turning speaker. You will here it snap in. Just use maximum pressure with fingers. Do not use tools. Connector is made of plastic and can break very easy.
