'make model (what it is)' in all questions please.

It looks like it is a Febo Electric Fireplace. There is a recall on the 30A model and it gives the importer details, who should be able to supply parts.

From what you have described your Frigidaire washer is not operating and it is displaying the word "lock". Typically, the "lock' stands for the control lock feature. If you look at your control panel you should see a padlock symbol depending on your model you should be able to hold down the button that is near that symbol for three to five seconds. That should release the lock if you need any further assistance please reconnect and provide me with your model number. You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the door frame of your washer. With that information I can better assist you. -Matt

Dear FixYa,
I have an air conditioning Home Pride, Model KYD-25/b and have a problem in Cool mode.
It never got below 90 F, even I set to 65F. The compressor ran for a short time then stop, while the fan kept running. It cycled like that every 5 minutes or so.
Do I have a low refrigerant and need to charge? How do I do it?

Go to back of washing machine and look for label with model number and serial number.
Take a photo so the numbers are easy to read.
Then search for example: Maytag RG3455 .pdf
Be sure to include .pdf in search parameter.
Another approach is to contact repairclinic.com and see if they have schematic or manual.
Also re-post question at fixya clearly stating your brand and model number to see if someone has a link or has a manual.
Better results at fixya might be available when offering $3-5, since somebody has done work to find and post manuals for your benefit.

Susan, the "90" series of thermostats covers a couple of different thermostats made by White-Rodgers. Here's how to find your model number. With that info, I can check the manual specific to your thermostat.

In the mean time, check the display for the word BATTERY or BAT. (Flashing) on the display. Battery flashing or blinking on the digital display indicates low batteries. If the batteries have recently been changed and the thermostat continues to indicate low batteries, use a pencil eraser to polish each of the battery contacts inside the back of the thermostat. Do not bend them up and down when polishing or you might break them. When complete, they should all be as shiny as a mirror. This will assure proper battery back-up, allow the backlight to work correctly and remove the flashing battery symbol from the screen. Battery (Solid) on Display The battery symbol (not blinking) indicates a loss of power (24 volts) from the heating and cooling equipment to the thermostat. Normally the heating and cooling do not operate when the battery indicator is on. If the battery indicator is on, check the fuses or breakers, make sure the furnace is switched on, and verify the blower compartment door is closed properly. The battery display is designed to indicate the thermostat is running on batteries, so replacing batteries has no effect on the indicator. See No Heat/No Cool for more information. Note: Some heat only systems (zoned systems) disconnect power from the thermostat during a normal heating cycle and display the battery symbol. Millivolt heating systems always indicate battery because they do not supply 24 volts to the thermostat.

A beep often is provided as audible feedback when keys are depressed on many thermostats. You should check to make sure that no key is stuck in the "in" position or is otherwise activated.

You should be able to go to Sharp support and search your model number for a copy of the operator's manual. If it's an older model send me the model number and I'll look for one. Good luck and God bless.
