Comfort-Aire R Series RADS-151Q Window Air Conditioner. How to take a fan out of it please?

Take it out of the window and remove all the case screws. I have a Comfort-aire split unit and all 4 lights are continuously blinking on the display. The unit does not turn on or respond to the remote. How do I reset the unit?

I need the fan blade for a Comfort aire model PE121A. The only part number I can find is (20402021300). Does any one carry a replacement fan?

www.alpinehomeair.com. This website stated"please call us for suitable replacement". Might have some luck there? Seems to be a discontinued part, as you may know already. I checked 3 others and all stated the same, discontinued.

I have a comfort-aire RG-61A window AC. Can it be installed sideways? or only installed horizontally?

Only horizontal. The compressor won't run for long otherwise. The condensate drain would let water inside too.

So I'm assuming your house is 1200 to 1500 sqft?? Why is unit freezing?? Is the filter clean, vents open, blower motor running?? What's the Static pressure on the system?? Is there a refrigerant leak?? How about the txv?? First report the installer to the better business bureau, then find a qualified company to fix the unit. Good Luck!! Comfort-Aire REG-183 18,500 BTU Window Air Conditioner & Heater cuts on and off when not set to auto on heat only
