Suction Cover The suction cover of my Eureka Deep Steam 2575A is broken - the tabs snapped off of the cover so I am unable to screw the suction cover back on. I need to purchase a new suction cover but can't find one anywhere. Anyone know what I can do? thanks

If my sprayer is plugged lint? cat hair?then how do I unplug it? I still haven't figured out how the squeeze trigger works. Can't see how it can contact the sprayer.

There is a clear cover over the suction head that is held on with 2 screws. Remove the screws with a philips screw driver and the cover will remove providing access for cleaning. Refer to your owners manual which provides this info with a photo I think. Reinstall in the reverse manner. Be careful not to over tighten the screws as you could strip the threads. So to reassemble do not use an electric screw driver or drill type screw drive.

Eureka Smart Vac The Boss no suction from either setting. I have taken it apart trying to see if it was clogged but it isn't. Checked the hose it is not sliced.

Remove the bag cover and feel for suction above the motor. If their is suction there then check the bag compartment is sealed. You can drop a coin down the hose to check for blockages all the way to where the bag attaches.

No suction or spray - Eureka Atlantis Steam Cleaner

I got the machine working. I think because it hadn't been used for awhile that the seals were dried out. I wet them and let it sit for awhile and then I could push the containers all the way in and seated them properly. Then it started working no problem and I got to clean my carpets.

Eureka Atlantis Rug shampooer wont **** up the water, how can I fix it. Thanks Dennee

make sure that the two slide-tabs on the front of the machine are all the way down so that they can hold the front see-through cover down and create suction at the front. I did the same thing. you can tell when they get moved while cleaning because you will hear a muffled pop like something just got sucked into the vacuum. It is just the sound of suction being broken.

Low suction with Eureka Whirlwind 4481 Upright

Most times it is plugged at the inlet. There 2 screw on top, one on each side, in one of the holes or slots. Take top cover off, then check that inlet and hose to see if it is clogged there or not, you might replace the belt while you have cover off, part# 54312. I am sure it is stretched if it hasn't been replaced in a while. If the hose is clogged, the you will have to take off the handle, then the hose can be taken off so you can clear any clog in it.

How to change belt on Eureka Whirlwind

On the top cover, there are holes at the front on both sides, there is a screw on each side in one of the holes. Take the out, and the cover should come off, then you can get to the brush roll and belt.
