My Bissell Proheat Turbo has poor suction and leaves the carpet too wet. Is there a way to improve the suction so the carpet will be left just damp not soaking wet?

Flip the unit over you will see a grey panel that looks like a V with 6 or 8 screws remove it and you will find a black cover I think it has 2 screws remove it and you will see a gasket seal for the bottom for the motor mine was white some times this seal gets miss align. It is not easy putting it bask into place, I made a tool out of a metal hanger to help. Hope this helps you, it increased the suction on my cleaner 100 percent. 9400-T
