Toshiba tdp-t9u projector

My Toshiba TDP T9U will turn on for less than 5 minutes, then the screen will flicker and get discolored. After a couple of minutes of that, it will start to make a noise and then turn off. Please help me and tell me what the problem is and what I need to do about it!

Toshiba TDP-T9. the light won't change from yellow to green. we tried restarting the computer and the projector, but nothing seems to work.

Well first check the colour scheme of your monitor and of the projector.
If this doesn't work check the working hours of the lamp. Try cleaning the filters and if this doesn't solve your problem the best thing to do is to change the lamp of the device.
If you need further assistance please leave a comment. Cheers

Trouble with output to the projector

Hi there

Check the following on your laptop.

Right click on your desktop , go to properties and settings - check if your resolution of the PC is the same as that of your Projector. i.e. 800x600 or 1024x768

Also check that your secondary monitor is attached / activated.

If the signal stil won't pick up - hold down the Fn ( function button) left of your spacebar and press in your F-row of buttons the one with 2 screens on it. ( differs from brand and model )

Hope this helps you and good luck with your class tomorrow !

Toshiba TDP S8 projector shuts down suddenly

The reason why the projector is shutting off is so the lamp doesn't explode. It's more of a safety feature on the projector, you can reset the lamp and it might work for another 500hours. If the picture is still pretty bright I can get you the reset procedure, but be warn that when the lamp does eventually blow it could shatter the glass inside, so be careful, it shouldn't hurt the unit.

No power

I HAVE THE EASY FIX!
I had this same problem & almost threw it away!
If you have had it unplugged for a while just plug it in & make sure the yellow power light is on, then leave it plugged in for about an hour or two. Do not try to turn on before at least an hour, then it can easily be turned on. Make sure you reset the lamp timer option. There & you thought it would be difficult & expensive!
