H you haven't specified what type of tv it is but given it is last week you purchased, it can be assumed to be LCD/Plasma. A setup procedure I used to do on the old CRT tv 's when setting the customer controls were as follows.
1) set tv to locally transmittted programme material (eg News -NOT ADVERTS - They are always too bright
most people set by ear ie;advance 2 degrees at a time ride it in the higher rpm ranges and repeat till it starts to ping back off the last advancement and you should be fine otherwise youll need a degree wheel and help you cant see both sides of motor yourself but if you listen to it run move the distributor one way it will sound dull or slightly muffled the other way the sound will get sharper and clear your looking to be right inbetween
hello! take the ear piece and unfold it to 45 degrees, than pull it off . see the little splits on the end where the earpeace goes onto the body off the tooth? thats motos design for slipping it off the pins. than turn the earpiece around and put er back on. a little bit of a tussle till you get use to it. if your confused as i was put the earpeace on your other ear and the light will turn on and youll go (like me) oh yea!! i see, than youll go easy breezy. good luck. m.m.
