this kind of problem requires maintenance of the machine completely. change the catridge and insert new toner in it. further check for the master code on the manual to reset the machine.
Hi, to reset the problem signs or codes, key in the following in this order and a speed of a second per key press;
C Auto C Auto, display must go off or blank.
Enter desired code followed by Copy key press. Others have sub-codes and will require you to press Copy key again after that sub-code. For example H2,H3, U2 and H4 needs once Copy key press while developer or maintenance signs require pressing 20 then Copy key then 01 then Copy key.
It's not developer light. It is drum unit light and maintenance. You have to replace the Drum, Blade and Developer. After changing them you have to reset the maintenance, drum,developer counter. This procedure must be made by a copier tech.
But if you still want only the developer the code is AR-202D
To reset maintenance codes requires going into service mode. This should only be done by an authorized trained technician as changing or adjusting something in this mode could create all sorts of problems you dont want to deal with.
You have to get into the sevice mode and reset the "PM" counter back to zero. Go to service mode and enter code 24 then enter sub code 04 back to all zeros and exit out and turn the copier off then back on and it should disapear.
Did you do a PM on the copier? Or do you just want it off the display? You need to get in to service mode with pressing "#" "Interrupt" "Clear" "Interrupt" then enter 24 "Start" then go to sub code 04 then press OK to clear count. To exit press "CA" Good Luck
