Look at the power settings. The system may be going to sleep, the hard drive shutting down, display blanking by the computer and the monitor itself all can play a part in your problem.

The delay in recovering from sleep in considerable, hybernate is worse, meaning delay.

I was useing my computer and the screen turned blue and said unable to load windows. it wont strat up again it just keeps going to the blue screen. it will only turn off it i pull out the battires.

There is a virus which has corrupted some files and therefore it is unable to load windows. In this case you have to reload windows with the help of CDs which came with the computer. If you had made a start up CD, which is advised, when you purchased the computer, that will be very helpful in this case. The only set back will be that you will loose certain data as everything will be reset to factory settings.

I have a toshiba laptop with the windows vista,

Looks like some of the boot-up files or drivers are lost or corrupted. Your best bet is to re-install the OS. If you do it this way, you may not lose any files:
1) Boot from the OS CD-ROM
2) Choose "install OS" from the CDROM menu
3) Choose the "repair installation" option.
4) follow the instruction on the screen.
5) As soon as the computer boots successfully, open a DOS box screen and type "chkdsk c: /r"; answer "yes" to whatever question you are asked. Then close the DOS box screen and restart

Sorry to tell you that the best way is to reinstall your operating vista (windows vista) as you can see it is already corrupted. So you better send your computer to the nearest computer shop for proper installation of operating system.

How to download photos from vivicam 4100

Hookup the camera using the supplied USB cable. Turn on the Camera. And wait!!! Sometimes the VISTA PC will recognize the camera in a minute or two, sometimes longer. Turning the camera on and off will cause an icon to appear in the 'Computer' window momentarily, but it usually disappears!

I have taken many, many pics with my trusty 4100 and have been able to transfer ALL of them by exercising extreme patience.

Just keep checking the Computer window for the USB icon.

Good Luck,

Don

Presario desktop windows vista, shuts down unexpectedly

Windows Vista will not install on old computers. If this is your case try installing Windows XP, If this does not work you might want to try Linux (Ubuntu). which will run on almost any old computer with full capabilities.
It is free and you can download it from
