How to reprogram my Pride legend XL Mobility Scooter?

What would you like to program it to do? It is a Mobility Scooter. Turn the key on, and twist the throttle and it moves. It is a battery, a potentiometer and a pair of electric motors.

I NEED a technical Reference Manual with schematic to show me how to assemble a tiller from a pride legend XL (SC3450).

From Pride, MK batteries or your local mobility service centre.

Have you checked eBay for mobility scooter chargers. be careful on second hand chargers.

I had a similar problem with my Pride Legend XL when I drove it
through a puddle accidently and some water splashed up underneath
the motor controller. It would buck or go then stoo without any warning
as the electric brake was applied. Had to take the seat off and use a
hair dryer on the controller connections to dry them out. It doesn't
seem to take much water to make these inoperative. After thoroughly
dried out with a hair dryer..no more problems like that with it.

Where do I find the s/n on a Pride Legend XL Mobility Scooter Thanks, Wayne

The SN on this model is well hidden. First you need to remove the seat of the scooter. Then , remove the back cover of the batteries. If I remember correctly, you have to remove both batteries and the SN is in that area. On some of these models the SN is on the lower end of the seat post. It is on a tag that I think reads Pride Mobility Products in silver and black. Hope this helps

My scooter when I press the throttle to go forward it like breaks or stops. I have a Legend XL. It goes OK in reverse but, when you press to go forward it breaks like bad gas.

hi i hsave a pride legend classic mobility scooter it will run ok for a few yards then suddenly stop but if u wait for a bit it will go again whats the problem thanks

Haunted Unless you are a Pride Provider or field service tech for Pride you can't access that material from the Pride website. The only manuals you can download are the users manuals and if that would help goto pridemobility.comand find your scooter then you will find the users manual for that scooter. You might try to contact your local provider and ask if they can get one for you Hope this helps
