Question about Samsung HC-P4241W 42" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

I have a samsung HCP4363wx/xaa rear projection tv, and everything on all chanels looks like its always in 3-D, text is unreadable, any ideas what might b wrong ??

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.
This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

That tv is a rear projection tv. It uses 3 CRT tubes that are Blue, Red, and Green and converges the pictures on top of each other. The convergence chip needs to be replaced. Samsung Akai Projection TV Repair Kit for one or more of the following...

How do i fix my color on my projection tv samsung hlr5677 everything else is fine just made loud noise and then color was gone
Remove the lamp and look where it faces---the color wheel is there and you need to carefully look at it to see if any of the plastic segments are missing or it is broken.

If even one tiny part of the wheel is gone it can cause this.

Samsung tv model # HCP4363WX Ghosting
The convergence board that you replaced will not correct the issue that your describing as your model has the convergence amp circuits located on the Deflection board. You would need the deflection board which is available at the following link. It also has a picture of the board which is in your model its the large board on the right with the Flyback and both Convergence ICs on it.

Samsung model # HLP5063WX/XAA 3 lights blinking and tv won't come on changed out lamp it worked fine for 6 months. then went out again, same 3 lights blinking indicating lamp bad, got new lamp still not...
It can be the Lamp Ballast as well as the Color Wheel.

I have a samsung hlp 5063wx/xaa tv..It has a noisy fan.I understand there are 3 fans in the tv.I've located fan # 1 and 2,however fan #3 is the noisy fan adn i can't find it.It's not visable.Can anyone...
replace color wheel, sound like a fan, but it is the wheel. look on you tube for video of how to do it.

try to adjust the green blue red lines .the green moves up and down but the red blue just moves side to side not up or down .replace the blue crt tube and when I went to adjust the i hear a pop .I got the repair manual and the tv did not have that maget x looking thing rings that slides on the tube that gose to the top on the blue tube ,not the thing thats wrap in copper.

how do i reset convergence on rear projection samsung hx-p4241w please? hi i had convergence issues on my tv and used the menu choice to fix the problem which did little to fix the issue. then i used the mute-1-8-3 method and 7 8 9 to select R G B, 4 to select moving part a line, full line or the whole matrix. which was nearly perfect.  however the "matix" is not perfect and in little areas is just a touch wavey, in one corner very wavey. is there a way i can set one colour of the "matrix" back to factory setting and then move the blue and red to fit it so everything is symetrical and straight? many thanks
