Cold water wont go into machine. I have replaced the intake vaulve and still wont work. Hot water will

check the filters

at the intake the solinoids {water intake valves}
there is a small filter

you need to turn of the hot and cold water
like under the sink
take off both hozes hot and cold
then take out the filters at the machine intakes
and clean them
you can take out the filters
using flat nose plyers to gently pull them out
clean them out from brown crypto spyridion carcus
and other rubbish
you can leave the filters out and run thru the whole machine on like 30deg with a calgon tab
does help {not scotland no lime here }
then place the filters in the intakes again
or replace the valve if it leaks water after cleaning
then the spring in the valve of the valves solinoid coils isnt so good
and needs replaced
but can just be a blockage

above all if its a new machine you just got
perhaps it been in a low presure area so the valves will be
low presure hot and cold
usually its just the hot that is low presure

so you need to check the cold water is getting plenty on like 2 -3 bar presure...

machines have a hot water and a cold water intake

if the water cold isnt getting to the blue intake it wont work
as you have an error code
post the error code it displays
you posted insufficient info to come to a good recon

try using the hot water pipe on the cold water switch the washer to hot if the water comes through you need to replace the cold water inlet valve

your inlet vaulve is sticking and allowing water to trickle through, only solution is to find if it is your hot or cold vaulve and replace it

Remove lid and just check connectors on rear of inlet vaulves are not earthing. Hope this helps. Also to check it is not a faulty solonoid remove wires from 1 terminal and tape them up, then put machine onto hot fill, if this does not blow trip switch then solinoid most likely at fault. Please ensure you disconnect power before touching wires. Good luck hope this helps

your inlet vaulve is no good, you need to change complete fitting, dut first need to find out if it is the hot or cold vaulve. assuming it is hot and cold fill.The electric solonoid can be reused, as long as the rest of the vaulve is replaced

the inlet vaulve is faulty. Is machine hot and cold fill? if so you will need to change correct vaulve.

F-20 error code in Whirlpool Duet Sport washing machine is indication of inadequate water supply. Check both hot and cold water supply lines to make sure machine gets enough water intake. If you do not have a hot water supply to the machine you can only run it with the cold temperature setting. This machine does not have an internal water heater and relies on the hot water supply from the house water heater.

check to see if you have power to the fill valve when the cold water should be going in;(reverse the connectors on the fill valve) i.e. hot now will not go in... replace the fill valve: (buy it at an appliance parts store) (inexpensive) it's an easy replacement job

if no cold water then check the water inlet valve for possible obstruction at screen in the valve or the fill hose it may have a screen in it
if not the problem the verify that you have voltage to the water valve if you do replace the water inlet valve
