I think it is a rechargeable CR2032 that is wired to the board and re charges when the camera is in use.
Some early models had the CR2032 under a clip panel where the main battery is fitted.
There is an internal battery in most cameras that is charged by the Lithium Ion battery when the camera is in use. If the camera is being used and the Lithium Ion battery is fully charged and yet the time/date is not being stored then there is probably a problem with the internal battery
Press the m button during shooting or playback to display the setup menu. The setup menu provides access to a variety of camera settings, including options not listed in the function menu, display options, and the time and date. Once you have the date and time set it should stop asking.
It takes around four hours for a freshly charged main battery to charge the internal backup battery. It you do that and it still doesn't charge it, you need a new internal battery. The fully charged internal battery in most of them will hold the charge for up to 3 weeks with the main battery out of the camera.
have you check the settings for time and date have you saved it? You can also try to remove the cam battry for 2 mins. then put it back in then turn on the camera and then after few secs. turn it off, then see if the issue persist.
It may only happen enter date and time if you remove the battery in the camera., If your not removing the batteru out of the camera you should not recieved that message, unless battery is out of charge or no power.
You should use this battery Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable battery KLIC-8000. This is a special battery for Z812 camera,
Note: You must also need to purchase a charger for this type of battery. I guarantee you it will provide stable longer power for on your camera
I thing your problem in your internal power. I don't know what NIKON S710 use. For some camera, they used internal battery (Circle and small) in their board. If you find same, try to change with the new one. If you don't find it..In my country i find the battery in the watch service. I hope usefull
The date and time settings are displayed after turning on the camera.
Solution
It is normal for the camera to lose time and date settings if the internal battery is left uncharged for an extended period of time; some cameras will default to the time-setting screen when turned on if this happens. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
Turn off the camera.
Do one of the following:
Insert a fully-charged battery pack into the camera.
If the camera is supplied with an AC power adapter, plug the adapter into a working electrical outlet and then connect it to the camera.
Allow the internal battery that retains the time and date information to charge for at least 90 minutes.
After enough time has elapsed to sufficiently charge the internal battery, turn on the camera.
Set the time and date.
Turn off the camera for 30 seconds.
Turn on the camera again.
Check to see if the date and time have been saved.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required.
