Hi Circuitrider

Just change the resolution on your PC to match that of the Projector i.e. XGA Projector = 1024x768 resoltuion.

If the problem still persists , the Mainboard is at fault and will need either replacement or repair.

Internal fan location in TLP S30, I get an error message about internal fan problem

one of the fans arent working. there should be at least 3- one for the lamp, one for the power supply, and at least one for the lcd panels. you should be able to see the one for the lamp and power supply from the outside. if both are spinning, it's the other one, which you might be able to see from the bottom.

Toshiba TLP XD-2000

There are two things it could be...

First, how far are you trying to run the cable for? When you run longer distance a humbucker might be needed. Or it means that the internal distribution output has bad vertical and horizontal connections.

My Toshiba TLP-XD2000 projector reads "unsupported signal" when it is plugged in to my Dell Inspiron 600m laptop. It has worked for about 8 months perfectly and then when I plugged it into another computer...

reset the settings to factory default. when you plugged it into the 2nd computer, it searched for matching resolution, to no avail. when you put it back with yours, it was on the default setting.

Hi momawarbucks

Check if your secondary screen is attached by going to desktop and right click , then go to properties and advanced.

Also check if your refresh rate is on 60-70 Hz

And that the resolution your PC is on , is supported by your Projector - i.e. XGA Projector - 1024x768

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya !
