I don't know the code, but I have found that if you purchase the Philips SRU 1018/10 11 (for about $30AUD) model of Universal remote, and do an Automatic search it picks it up. Don't bother going through the codes in the back of the book. Went through them twice thinking I had entered them wrong. But persevere with the Auto search for about 4-5 mins and it picks it up. I have the AKAI CT-2868AT model two, under similar circumstances it was given to me with no remote.
I had the same problem with a broken remote for the Akai CT-2868AT which meant I could not access the AV channel. I bought the one-for-all (model URC-7711) universal remote which worked with this model TV.
universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your
xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad
if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai
