    my iphone shows the apple screen and the wheel that says its loading but it wont turn on. i erased all its data previously and after it was done this occured. what can i do?

Hold down the top button and the home screen button at the same time for about 15 seconds and then RELEASE!

That worked! Had the same problem. 3G just shut off (and not a low battery) and would not turn on. Tried plugging into both laptop and wall, but still nothing. But the hold down the 2 buttons solution worked! Thank you!

Anyone know why this happened though? Only a month old and have never dropped or damaged it.

MY IPHONE DIED AND NOW WONT TURN BACK ON
First check to make sure your charger is working, plug it up to the computer and see if the battery charging display comes up.

Second I would check to make sure the battery is actually charging.

Third try a cold boot, hold the power and home keys down while it boots it could just simply be locked up.

My iphone wont turn on. i hold both buttons down and the white apple comes on but it wont start . the guys in the at&t store told me to reboot it but it wont reboot.
i'm not sure if you have damage, bad chipset, or if your iphone is "bricked". google "wonder how to", on search tab"fix your bricked iphone" it might be worth a try. look around on the web site, you may find another way. hope this helps.

My iphone 3gs turned off and it wont turn on i tried the cold reboot nothing, i tried forced restore, nothing! i tunes wont read it in any way it wont charge nothing no power. This ever happen to anyone?
Broken logic board or dock connector. If Apple doesn't replace it for you, you can find the parts at iPhone 3GS Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at iPhone Repair Guide.
