Well Terry, On your remote go to the Menu. Scroll down to the Audio option. Seems like you have captioning on. Simply turn it off. Depending on the model year of your TV it could be as easy as the button on the remote control.

Same problem here. Bought 47 inch LCD for xmas and immediately had scrolling issues. Dish network receiver and Samsung BluRay player connected.

When you are in 'TV' mode press the MENU button on the remote. Click on 'picture' then scroll down to picture options and press enter. Scroll to the bottom and click on 'Burn Screen Protection'. You then need to turn off the 'Auto Protection time'. After this, it is a good idea to go to pixel shift, turn it on and set values 4, 4, 1 for Horizontal, Vertical and Time respectively. just spoke to Samsung support and it turns out that the freeview tuner had froze and needed resetting. To do this put TV on standby and then push in series these buttons on the remote: 'info, menu, mute, power' the TV will then turn itself on and display a menu. Press the 'down arrow' untill you've highlighted option 12 - 'reset' and then press the 'right arrow' to enter the option. TV will turn off and when you turn back on it will start in 'plug & play' mode as if new. Set the time and country options and then it will perform a complete scan. I've just retuned mine and all back to normal. Hoorah!!!! :-)

I can switch between shop mode & normal by holding down the menu key on the side of the screen, just press it till it changes.
