Lost the manual,i don't know what steps to take to program my rcr412bn remote? to my sharp tv.

Press PGM on the remote control. The signal indicator on it remains lit.Enter the 3-digit program code with the number keys. Press OK The signal indicator will be o when the program is one.Press the volume keys on this remote control to check if they can adjust the volume of your TV set.• If you fail to control your TV set,repeat steps 2 to 4 to program again. You can try going to the RCA website and looking up the user manual for your model of universal remote. I happened to need to do that today for mine which also has no code search button. I found out that mine is a model RCR412BN. I was able to find the user instructions on how to set the codes for my TV, DVD and Digital converter by following these instructions on the RCA website ... worked great!

To have the remote try each TV code it knows one at a time, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the TV button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
4. Press the ON/OFF button slowly and repeatedly until the TV turns off. The LED will blink once each time you press the ON/OFF button.
   
5. Once the TV turns off, press the ENTER button to store the code and the LED will turn off.
   

To program the remote for your VCR, repeat this process starting with turning the VCR on, then follow the steps substituting the VCR button for the TV button.

There is a code out there to try.  The code would be 47.  Just follow the steps in your manual on how to program this box and you should be able to go from there. Can't garantee that it will work as that code came out with the newer tv but it should work.
