Sounds like the heat coil has went bad you can pick one up at a appliance store, but the cost would be close to buying a used dryer, also check and see if something has gotten on the coil and shorted it out I had a dyer one time that I found a little dead snake on it,I removed it and it work for many years good luck....
Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
check out this electric no heat tip...
A dryer not heating usually means that either the heating element is burned/broken (open circuit); a thermal fuse in line with the heating element is blown or; a thermostat is faulty.
Dryer needs to be partially disassembled to diagnose with a multimeter.
The manual says that two circuit breakers used, and that the dryer can spin but no heat if one of them tripped, check your panel and see if any breakers are tripped. If this was the problem, have an electrician check the circuit.
A possible fix, which sounds completely absurd is to reset the circuit breaker. If you visually examine the breaker it will not appear to net resetting. This is because only half the breaker has been blown. You will not see this visibly and my husband thought I lost my mind and spent several hours troubleshooting before he would listen to my solution. We have only had to do this once in the six years of ownership. Hope this helps
odd but it worked for me!! Try resetting the circuit breaker. It will not appear to have blown, this is because only 1/2 the breaker needs resetting, This is much cheaper to try before calling for service or parts. My 2002 E3t has only had this problem once and the resetting worked without further issues for 2 years now. Good luck
REMOVE 2 SCREWS ON BOTTOM OF PANEL,, REMOVE LINT SCREEN , NOW REMOVE BLACK METAL HOUING ,,,DISCONNCT POWER BEHIND METAL HOUSING THERMAL FUSE IS RIGHT THERE REPL ,NOW SHOULD HEAT UP ,,,2 RED WIRES CONNECT TO IT
