This is the closest manual I can find, there is nothing describing the symbols you see. It sound like a paused cycle. Try cutting the power at the breaker for 10 minutes to reset it. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/773676/Kenmore-592-89032.html?page=21#manual It's not an error code as they are F and a number. https://removeandreplace.com/2015/05/21/kenmore-elite-he3-washing-machine-error-codes-fix/ ..

First rule of repair, diagnose before purchasing. :>) The thermal fuse, door switch, element and on-off button can all be tested with an $8 test meter. It is just a matter of checking continuity with the meter set to Ohms.. Disconnect the connections to the element and check continuity. No continuity = failed element. you can also visually inspect for a break. https://www.amazon.com/AstroAI-Digital-Multimeter-Voltage-Tester/dp/B01ISAMUA6/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=cheap+multimeter&qid=1621971655&smid=A2NOFZGOKNP3PJ&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFKVzdENE43VFNLVFEmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAyNzc1MzVRREVPNVEzSkgzMjQmZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDAzNzc5MTNNMU05T1dXRVhWMEQmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl It has two fuses and a thermistor. https://www.repairclinic.com/ProductDetail/501925 ..

For most Samsung dryers, d0 error indicates a door latch issue. Either the door latch isn't locking or the door locked message isn't getting to the control board. If the door latch is secure with nothing in the latch area, check the wiring between the latch and the control board. Check that the sensor and individual wires in the wiring harness have continuity. Make sure that there is no corrosion in the wiring harness. (There should be a trouble-shooting sheet inside the dryer with the appropriate resistance and voltage readings for the door latch sensor. Often the sheet is behind the control panel.) The latch may need to be replaced. If the latch, wiring and sensor are good, then the control board may need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Unfortunately, I can't find a parts list or diagram for the Kenmore 592.893080. Cindy Wells

Child Lock The CL indicates the unit is in a Control Lock mode. This is sometimes referred to as child lock and is meant to prevent accidental option or cycle changes while the dryer is running. ... This is the keypad that turns the control lock feature on or off by pressing and holding the switch.Nov. 28, 2014

If your clothes get marked or torn in your dryer, check these:

Rollers
Rear seal
Front glides
Front seal
Rollers Your dryer may use rollers, or wheels, to support the rear of the clothes drum. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rollers wear out, you need to replace the whole set.

Rear seal Your dryer may have a felt-like seal at the rear of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, clothes can get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rear seal wears out, you need to replace it.

Front glides Your dryer probably uses nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the glides wear out, you need to replace them as a set.

Front seal Many dryers have a felt-like seal at the front of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, the clothes in the dryer may get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the seal wears out, you need to replace it.

Define "doesn't work" -- dead, runs but won't heat, etc. There is not a reset button. Not everyone understands that Sears Kenmore is a house brand and Sears never built anything, but sourced from many different vendors. The first three digits in the model are producer identifiers with 110 being the code for Whirlpool. IF it came from Whirlpool, and depending on the specific model (there are hundreds of models) then it might have a fusible link that will open (blow) due to overheat. If this is the problem two things are required: 1) replace the bad part (check with a volt/ohm meter) and, 2) correct the problem that caused it. Air flow is far and away the main problem. This can be a mashed vent, long vent, clogged vent, wrong size vent or a combination of all those. Also, there can be foreign objects in the dryer, especially the blower. Excess fabric softener coats the lint screen mesh with a clear coating that is not obvious but slows air flow.
