Everytime i watch tv....theres an annoying blank black box that pops up on the screen, sometimes it say HL or some other random letters or numbers...i dont have a remote so i have limited access to the menu and i tried reset the settinfgs to factory defaults but im not sure its working..dont know what the problem is.
It part of the caption functions is on.Tries find in ur tv menu,goto captioning functions like CC1,2,3 and Text 1,2,3.Turn it all off.These radom black boxes and trying typing somethings,should stop.
Go to the menu of your tv and turn off caption. This will make it go away..
If you have no sound and no video but you have power to the tv then you have to look at the source. Source being your Cable box. The other thing to check is to make sure that you have the proper input selected on the tv. If you have cable in Video one for example then you need to have your TV input to video one.

Me too but black box has message that says text test 1. It goes away when I shut it off and turn back on but generally returns again. Worse in the AM
