Apex Digital PF2720 27" TV Questions & Answers
Child lock came on by itself on apex pf2720
Apex TVs have parental locks that allow you to block certain
programs based on
their rating. When this
feature is no longer needed and you want your TV to display all programming no
matter its rating, you must unlock your TV. Unlocking your Apex TV is done
completely from your remote control and does not require any tools. The process
takes less than 5 minutes.
• Press the
"Menu" button on the remote control and use the arrow buttons to
scroll down to the "Parental Guide" option, then press the
"Enter" button.
Type in the default parental code "6688" if you have not
set your own code. If you have set your own code, type it in. If you set your
own code and forgot it, override it by using "6688."
Use the arrow keys to switch the parental lock to "OFF."
This allows all programs to be viewed no matter the rating. Press the
"Exit" button on the remote and start watching all your channels.
How to change a bulb in a apex pf2720 tv
I'd guess it is not a bulb issue if the audio also stopped working. Check your input source, connections and the like. Try using a different input (ie input 4 or the front AV connectors) and a different source (ie your old Nintendo instead of your DVD player).

He may have reconnected the DVD player to a different connection on the back of TV. If so, you'll need to change the INPUT source using your tv remote control. On the TV remote, there should be a button that says something like INPUT or SOURCE. This button will let the TV display the signal coming through the different jacks on the back of the tv.

Tv Has Big Black Box
shut off close caption. use the CC button onthe remote or go in to the menu and change close caption to CC1. this box is the close caption in TEXT(1,2) which will put on a black box whenever there is caption present.
Picture scrolls on all inputs except Componenet
It certainly sounds like a defective capacitor. Was the storage area hot? Electrolytics can dry out and change value over time or flat out short out. They don't cost that much and it sounds like you know what you're doing around TVs. I would start in the vertical circuit and replace all electrolytics. Also look closely at all connections with magnification and solder anything which looks suspicious. If you have a scope and know how to use it a check of various waveforms should identify the culprit. Good luck and remember safety.
I need to know how to change modes without controller when I'm using a dvd
Without a remote controller, you may have limited options to change modes on your Apex digital TV. However, you may be able to change the mode by using the buttons on the TV itself.
Here are some general steps you can try:
- Turn on your TV and make sure your DVD player is connected to it.
- Look for the "Menu" button on the TV and press it.
- Navigate through the menu options using the arrow buttons on the TV until you find "Input" or "Source."
- Press the "Enter" button to select the input/source option.
- Use the arrow buttons to select the input/source that corresponds to your DVD player.
- Press the "Enter" button to confirm the selection.
- Press the "Menu" button to exit the menu.
Note that the specific steps may vary depending on the model of your Apex TV. You may also consult the user manual for your TV for more information on changing modes without a remote controller.
