HOW DO YOU TURN OFF PIP ON HP LC3260N

Hello, it's not PiP that's on , it[s a closed caption issue. the CC is in the text mode and is an easy fix. just press the CC button on the remote (it's located above the 1 button) till it says off on the tv screen, or if you use closed caption select CC1. this should take care of your problem......thanks, Terry

With this symptom, it is impossible to tell what the exact "Cause" of this symptom is. The LED's do not tell us what is wrong, sometimes it may indicate the "Area" in your case it is the X board. BUT thats NOT where the "Fault is" thats just the part that is affected. These days unlike the "Old" analogue days it just isn't realistically possible to fix anything but the most basic of problems with todays sophisticated units. This is quite apart from the Safety aspect, any unit that can cause a firs or have an explosion, or both, is NOT to be treated lightly, and and the repairer, of the unit is legally responsible, another thing to think about. Also, one must have tools, a Multimeter, a soldering iron, a deslodering iron, an oscilloscope, a signal tracer, tools, and most important of all, a Service Manual, without which, there is no way to even begin to understand and fix it, and more importantly Program it, AFTER it has been fixed. As these days a TV, is a PC, a Tuner, and an HDTV Monitor, and more, all in one. in the "old" days TV"s were more, rudimentary, and built to last for 20 years, and a "Parts" supply was set aside. They usually used to fail for only a few reasons, and they while still difficult, were less difficult to repair. Electrical knowledge was transferable, and they could be and would respond to, This-is-the-symptom-This-us-the-Fix, But that no longer applies, as now, it can be a Fault on I squared Bus, or "Sensor" failure, or it simple may have "Crashed" just like a PC, It could be a Diode go bad, and that will stop the whole thing. You see, in the day, the sets were Very "Fault Tolerant" because they were Analouge, and a faulty, component, or more sometimes, the set would always diplay something usually, and when they didn't it was one of anly a few things, sure there are always the horrid ones, and there are pleanty of those, but all in all it was quite easy. But with Digital Electronics, it either goes, or it doesnt, there are usualy few half measures. I mean thats the definition of logic either going or not. So it can take very little to completely paralyse a set, and generally give the only sysmptom, it can, by not working, usually No picture, or the like. So you, see the list is endless almost for any given SYMPTOM, as that is what is being seen, not the cause, as I keep going on about. Also any fault, usually involves the Power Supply, it is either the cause, the cause of the damage, or it is damaged. or ALL of them. Then after you have done the electronic repairs, you then must program the set to work, and align, and set up in general, any one of those settings missed or done wrong, back to square one. So, it is nearly always my professional opinion that one should always get a "Quote" form the manufacturers recommended service center, I cannot stress how important that last point is. It is even worth the cost of shipping. you see an authorised service agent, will have trained staff, trained on their brand, also they have first hand access to parts, original parts. This will actually save you money and ensure you can actually get it back fixed. Of course asking for a "Quote" also gives on the option of repair or replace. Often my clients,do not go through with repair, unless it is moderate, but in some of the more costly jobs they see it, as do i, that a replacement, with a warranty, is a better option. As an aside here, one could then tear the TV down, and sell the Known Good bits. You'd be surprised who needs parts, i myself often must by from third party sources to effect a repair. So money could be recouped, somewhat, and help out someone else

Where is the Logik LPV 09 HP reset button

The location of the reset button on the Logik LPV 09 HP would likely be in the owner's manual or on the company's website. It is also possible that the device does not have a physical reset button and can be reset through software or by unplugging the device for a certain amount of time. If you cannot find the information in the manual or on the website, you should contact the manufacturer for assistance. if i was able to help my cashapp $ralphpapi thank you have a blessing day

I try to start a HP iq775. When I press the power button I heard one short beep and I see a red light red and then blue, and turn off inmediately. The PC won't start. The power supply works fine. Help

All HP iq77x all-in-one PCs suffer from the same problem of a faulty motherboard. This is primarily a soldering issue on the graphics chip, which develops cracks in the solder balls. The PCs contained a separate graphics card, which goes faulty first. This can be removed and the display connector can be moved on the motherboard to use the on-board graphics. This will eventually show the same issue. A short term fix was to heat the graphics chip with a hot air gun or other means (plenty of suggestions can be found on-line) which sometimes works for a few weeks at most. The only 'permanent' fix is to have the chip professionally removed and re-soldered; an expensive option. If you are lucky, your PC is still wired to use the add-on graphics card, in which case you might be able to remove this and rewire for the motherboard graphics.

I have a HP MD5820N tv and it started making a loud humming noise and the colour went all dark and flickering and now will not turn on, the red lights flashes twice under the light bulb and thermometer pictures

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts. See the site by a desktop. Mobile view has no search box. If you are viewing it by your mobile, see it in webview./

HP Touchsmart 310-1033. My computer works, however; I can't see the screen too clearly. It flashes or blinks as if it's going out. I did a diagnostics and then took it to the shop to do their diagnostics and nothing. It's not a hardware issue. The repair shop wants to charge me $99 just to open up the computer to see. I'm looking for a less affordable option. A DIY option, if possible. Does anyone know what can be the issue? As I mentioned before, computer works, I just can't see the screen. It looks like how a TV looks with white snow or white noise or fuzzy.

The first thing to do is go into the device manager and delete the drivers for the display and let windows reinstall them. It may be a bad or out of date driver. So when you restart the computer it will put the driver back. Since you did not post the operating system, there is not a lot more I can tell you. If this does not help, you can try an external monitor to see if the problem is present there. If it is then it may be a display chipset issue.

White vertical bars on HP PL4260N Plasma TV. What recommendations for repairs and or boards affected in TV set

If those bars are vertical are going up and down and not horizontal that means the lower circuit board that connect to the plasma panel are bad most likely this is an LG TV but this is not something that can be fixed you can take it apart while at least an hour after it's unplugged before you can touch ID cards along the long circuit board see if there's any connection connection connection that you can disconnect and reconnect and very carefully clean up possibly this could be the problem but usually when you have that type of line which is a vertical line you have a bad panel and that's not good and I'm betting this is an LG TV
