Depends on style of your pressure tank. Some allow you to adjust the discharge pressure.

SOURCE: when adding air to a pressure water pump ,i

Sounds like the bladder is gone or inproper air pressure in water storage tank.

Bladder goes bad check it out with step 1
1-
One way to check for sure with everything hooked up. The air valve on top of the tank if pressed you will get water out of the valve which should be only air. This will let you know it should replaced.

If Tank bladder is low in air and not water coming out.

2-If it checks ok put an air gauge to tank to check the air pressure, with a standard 40 gal tank you will have 28 psi of air in tank for it to function properly.

How do I increase the pressure on my Flotec FP711OT-08. It is low 40s psi, can I move it up to 50 psi or high 50 psi? Water pressure throughout the house is low.

There may be a pressure setting on your outfit but My feeling is -- your problem will be low pressure on your water line. Most pressure settings is to keep from having too much pressure on what your running. For instance our city water pressure is 70 lbs but in order to keep my furnace boiler system at 16 lbs I have to install a pressure reducer.

Along with our V60 tank we have a water filter, we are having to change that filter about once a month compared to every three months we were wondering since we have so much silt do you think it is loading...

It is very possible you are seeing some water within you Goulds V60 tank. Do remember that the water of course flows in to the tank and out of the tank. If you feel there may be some silt build up shut the power to your well pump and open several garden hoses, the rush of water from the tank feeding the hoses will have enough velocity to scour any silt that may be lying in the base of the V60 pressure tank. No need to take it down to 0PSI that tank has a six gallon draw-down with a 30-50 pressure switch. Have your system at a full 50PSI, open the garden hoses and flush down to @ 30PSI or so. Afterwards be certain to power-up the well pump again.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

Lost water pressure on house

it is normal to loose pressure from the filter it must have very small holes in it for the water to pass threw so it can trap dirt and particales from both well and city water. it is normal for it to cut back on pressure, it will cut back more and more as it catches the things that you are filtering out. what you might want to do is filter your drinking water only, under your sink .dont try shower and outside faucets. and you wont have to replace it as often. well good luck and good day to you... sawdust46

Water pressure very low when running the hot water

check to see if the pressure has dropped on the cold tap if so then the main pressure to the house is low. try opening the main valve to the house a bit more it may be partially shut.if the cold pressure is higher check to see if the water tank is filling properly .

Icy connection to house and inside unit

In the cooling cycle, a low "freon" charge or low air flow can cause the line set to ice up. Check your air filter to be sure that low air flow is not just a dirty filter; then call for a system check up. (you do need your vents open throughout the home)
