Re: what does F22 error mean?
This fault code denotes 6 failed attempts at locking the door. I have found that this code is typically indicitave of a failed lock. Check the strike on the door to be sure nothing boke on it, and if not get a replacement door lock assy for your machine. You will see the three screws that hold it in and can remove the front spring clamp from your door boot to give yourself access to the door lock.

Look at the information below and it should clear up your mystery.
DOOR LOCK ERROR
A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try
to lock it six times before displaying the error code.
Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.

f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway. If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.
the f22 code is a failed thermistor. you can try to change this yourself but if the unit is less then a year old then it will be covered by warranty. the part is only about 30 bucks so if you can get one and find it behind the lint screen duct then you could change it and fix the problem.
TAKE 3 SCREWS OUT THAT HOLD THE BOTTOM FRONT PIECE REACH UP BEHIND AND ON THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM THERE IS A ROUND PLASTIC DOOHICKEY PULL IT DOWN ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH OR AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND IT WILL UNLOCK THE DOOR. I WOULD UNPLUG UNIT FIRST. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE F22 THING. MY JUNKER DOES THE SAME THING PERIODICALLY, I UNPLUG AND REPLUG IT TO CORRECT

The "fEE" error indicates that the camera is not communicating with the lens. The lens may not be attached to the camera properly, or if it has an aperture ring, it may not be set to f22 (or the highest aperture number of the lens) - which is normally marked in orange. Select this aperture and lock it using the aperture locking switch to prevent this from occuring again.
The fEE error message
Set to f22, or the highest aperture
number - normally marked in orange.
Note the locking switch.
