if it is 3 months old , I suggest that you call the repair shop as it is under warranty
touching it yourself or having any unauthorised person fix it will void the warranty.
What a heap of junk of a machine. The one I own died after 13 months taking the electrics in the house out with it. A faulty heating element was the cause. They leak over their electrics with predictable results. A modified element has been fitted. Avoid this and all Hoover products like the plague.
