I turn the tv on and red light comes on solid for a sec then starts to flash with no picture or volume what is wrong any clue

Tv now turn on,u have a flashing picture only a few sec. than dies have sound left only?Yes,than the tv long board call the LCD inverter board is dead.The tv have 1 or 2 long boards call the LCD inverter boards are dead.These 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards help the LCD screen panel to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those refurbishes 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

i had my tv on for about two and a half hours then it will shut of and the temp light will flash, I think its overheating but not sure if its the fan or color wheel or both, wtf can somebody please help?

The flashing light red power light should only stay while the fan cool down for about 1 minute after a power off (remember to always wait before unplugging the TV so the lamp can cool down with the fan). Does that flashing start right away after plugging back the TV after an hour of letting it without AC power.

The red light should flash no longer than 10 sec. This prepare the light to be turned on. If all is OK the green should stay (no longer flashing) and the sound and picture come on.

As for the lamp flashing, i bet it's only 1 time each 5 sec? Or do it group many rapid flash each 5 sec?

Things that can be wrong:
-the fan lamp

-the lamp is not proprely inserted (wait an hour before manipulating it to be sure it cooled down, and use glove to not put body oil on it).

-Lamps is defective and is not operating properly so you can't get to the usual on screen message that recommend to change the lamp.

I had the same prob. was told that the bulb went out

I had a similiar problem... I had to replace my bulb, which means $$$!

This is bad. You need to either be under warranty on these big screen TVs or get the service manual. Especially since this is an off brand.

Your pwer supply module has problem. Check diode (Z3) and 2 surface mount resistors (R65A and R65B).
