Try this: Connect your MP3 player to your computer. Open "My Computer". You should see your MP3
player connected. Right click on it. Click on FORMAT. This should completely wipe everything on your
MP3 player (except for the original necessary files that came on it origianlly). You should then be able to
get all of your space back.

Filled my mp3 player to nearly full, so that not one more song would fit on it, and then i must have accidently pressed the record button. Now when i switch the MP3 player on it says "MEMORY IS FULL,...

since the memory of your mp3 is full, dnt try to record or put any song on it. Except if there's a memory card space for it then you can upgrade and continue to load songs. If u still see memory full warning at start up, then try to delete some songs from it. Goodluck.

Cant put songs on mp3 anymore

how did you delete them?
did you delete them instantly from the file page or through the program they probably gave you with your mp3?

Also, if you removed your mp3 without clicking the "safely remove hardware" button before disconnected your mp3 with the computer, than it may have caused confussion with your hardware.

I have a thump 512. Want to add music to the 25-5 MB (on average) songs on it in MP3 format, but when i drag new songs to it, it says it has no space left. I deleted a couple of songs, but that didn't

That's because no offence but it has rubbish memory. 25mb is nothing these days. Most songs are 9-15mb themselves these days, and so no wonder you have no space left.

Says drive is full with nothing on it.

the driver may need to reinstalled, usually when it said disk space is full is because it is reading it, but the driver is not workng properly or

If you're able to see the drive under your my computers, you should be able to right-click it and click format. That should clear up all the space on the drive, even though there is nothing on there.

"formatting problem"

I had a similar problem, I could upload songs, but they wouldn't play and I couldn't delete them. turned out it was cause I didn't have WMP10 installed on my PC, had an older version. the user manual states it only works with WMP10, and after I installed it (just search for windows media player 10 on the microsoft website) I was able to use the synch function in WMP10 and all the songs are playable (I'm listening to an album as I type :D)
