"formatting problem" My sansa c150 player has 1.82 gb used space ( full of mp3 songs) and 39 mb free space. But unfortunately after connecting it to pc (windows xp professional) i couldn't see the mp3 files. The installation cd doesn't contain any formatting tool or tips.Hence I tried to format it using windows Quick format/Normal format options (right click and 'format').I saw the message 'Windows was unable to format'.To add to my woe the mp3 player is unable to display the songs even in its own screen.it says 'no songs'.I am still unable to format or delete the files. And still it says 'free space 39 mb and used space 1.82 gb'.Please help.

I had a similar problem, I could upload songs, but they wouldn't play and I couldn't delete them. turned out it was cause I didn't have WMP10 installed on my PC, had an older version. the user manual states it only works with WMP10, and after I installed it (just search for windows media player 10 on the microsoft website) I was able to use the synch function in WMP10 and all the songs are playable (I'm listening to an album as I type :D)

oh, I forgot - all the songs I'd loaded had to be deleted and reloaded. :(
