SOURCE: Hunter fan/light with remote installed turns on by itself

Many times this is caused by stray frequencies in the neighborhood. And, sometimes changing the frequencies on the remote and receiver reduce the occurrence.

But it sounds like this may not be the case, here. If not, the receiver in the fan is the culprit and should be replaced. No danger, just annoying.

SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote 85095-01 stopped working

if the battery's are good then you broke it and you have to order a new one which you can do by calling the place that you got the fan from tell them what kind of fan you have and let them know that you nead a new remote and they will be able to help you do that.

SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote problem

You will most likely need to replace the receiver with a new one from hunter. The receiver is actually a complete controller and contains the receiver, relays (which you hear clicking) and starting condensors(large capacitors which hold a charge that is "dumped" over the windings to get the motor to start from a dead stop). These appear to be pretty tightly assembled unless you have a desire to start replacing parts "off the board."

SOURCE: HUNTER ceiling fan remote works with fan but not light

Unfortunately, you either have a faulty reciever or remote. A replacement will cost $30-$40 at homedepot2.gif. And it doesn't matter which is faulty because you can't purchase them seperately anyhow.

How do you change light bulb on hunter ceiling fan model 25734 Type H

Hunter 25734 doesn't come with light, light was just added, you need a picture of a light or a model number of the light for people to answer your question.

Wattage limiter hunter ceiling fan

As per the Energy Policy Act of 2005, all ceiling fans manufactured or imported into the United States must utilize a light bulb wattage limiter as of January 1, 2007. This limiter limits the capacity of the fan's light kit to a maximum of 40 watts per bulb. Not very bright at all!

Put in LED lamps and save a lot of work. Go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WeWSKNe64A it will show you how.

Hunter ceiling fan fan is working but lights are not

Make sure light wire is connected at the ceiling & at the bottom. Otherwise it's probably the receiver. 1-888-830-1326 ( Hunter parts )

Newly installed Hunter remote will work light and fan if only 2 of the 3 bulbs are installed.

Did you install the correct wattage? If you put in 2-60 watt try 3-40 watt instead .

I have Hunter ceiling fan / light. I installed it. It worked fine for a little while, than one bulb blew out, then a second bulb blew out, now none work. Yes I repaced all the bulbs, still don't w

I would check with a voltmeter if you can safely to verify power at the light socket using an adapter to a plug in it. If you can not do that, with power off you may want to make sure that the socket contacts are good and clean. Sometimes they can become tarnished badly.

Fan works, light doesn't on Hunter ceiling fan

I would begin by testing each bulb in a different socket somewhere in the house.

Hunter ceiling fan

Sounds like the remote receiver units (located where the mains connect to the fans) took a surge and have failed.
